Pat Todd, Undergraduate student
I am interested in keystone species, modeling population dynamics, community ecology, conservation management, climate change, and alpine ecosystems. I have a passion for conservation and the earth around me. I was a field tech for Harvard Forest and assisted with Devils Hole pupfish rehabilitation. When I am not in the lab/field, you will find me skiing, climbing, dancing, and exploring the outdoors. |
Micaela Seaver, Undergraduate/masters? student
I have, for the last four years, focused on plant community ecology in hard-to-reach places – specifically, the tops of trees and mountains. More recently, I’ve found myself interested in how we can make education in ecology and evolution better. I find myself asking questions like...How can we increase ecological understanding? Can we use the principles and conceptual foundations of ecology to help improve education? What are the important big ideas in ecology and evolution and how we can make them more relevant in the lives of students? When I am not thinking about plants or large questions, you can find me climbing, hiking, camping, and meditating under big trees. |
